Yep, that Mr. Tripps knew how to make fuzz pedals! Here’s our demo of the Piercing Moose, his “octifuzz”. I suppose it’s based on the Foxx Tone Machine, but the Way Huge pedal doesn’t sound exactly the same. It’s got it’s own thing going on, mainly because the Moose has this MEAN sound. Not sure how to exactly describe it, but listen and you’ll see what I mean. Mike Dugan is playing a Fender US Highway 1 Strat and the amp is my 1967 Fender Super Reverb.
